Picture Day

Picture Day is this Friday!  If you want to order your child's picture please have the form filled out completely as well as exact money.  Thanks!!

Also, please be sure to sign the photo release form (for this blog) and put back in your child's take home folder.  Once I receive all of them, I can start posting wonderful pictures of all of our friends in 1A!!!  Thanks everyone!!

Spelling Test

We are having our first spelling test this Friday!!  The words are:  sat, man, dad, at, am, mat.  I will create a column on the right side of my blog and will update the new spelling words each week.  From now on, our test will be every Friday:)

Parents

Please send back all paperwork that has been sent home this week!  It's very important that I receive the packets back in order to really get to know your children (including any allergies!!) Also, I am sending home a parent permission form that allows me to post pictures of your children here on my blog.  I love to post pictures of them learning throughout their day!

First week of school

Hello All!

We have finished our first week of first grade!!  I'm so proud to say that we have an absolutely wonderful class this year!  After only 3 days, we are already beginning to follow our classroom rules and routines.  I'm really looking forward to this year!!
